Adam Bock Obituary, Death: Owensville Missouri, Benjamin “Adam” Bock, 37, Passed Away Monday, March 25, 2024

Adam Bock Obituary, Death – Benjamin “Adam” Bock was a beloved son, brother, coworker, and friend. It is with significant sadness that we share the news of his loss. On March 25, 2024, Adam, who was born on March 5, 1987, departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light that will be eternally treasured by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. In Owensville, at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home, on March 30, 2024, there will be a memorial ceremony held to celebrate the life of Adam. Visitation will take place on March 29, 2024, from four to eight o’clock in the evening. Countryside Memorial Gardens will be the location where Adam will be laid to rest after the service.

When Adam was born, his parents, Benjamin Joseph Bock and Robin Gail Schaefferkoetter, were in Jefferson City, Missouri. This was the beginning of Adam’s adventure. Adam was a devoted engineer who worked for Fairlane Industries in St. Louis. He had finished his studies at Missouri S&T and received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. It was clear to everyone who met him that he was deeply committed to his work, and he took great pleasure in the companionship of his fellow employees.

Adam’s vivid personality and infectious laughter will be remembered more than his professional accomplishments. He will be remembered for their combination. His embraces were a source of comfort and warmth for everyone who received them, and his grin, with its charming dimples, had the ability to brighten even the darkest of days. A reflection of Adam’s imaginative attitude and creative intellect was his passion for technology and his talent for constructing things. Adam embraced every project with a joyful and inquisitive attitude, whether he was putting together devices or preparing delicacies in the kitchen.

By effortlessly drawing people together with his warmth and charisma, Adam was the heart and soul of each gathering that he attended. Kindness, compassion, and generosity were all characteristics that he exhibited in every facet of his life. He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ. To this day, Adam is survived by his devoted mother, Robin Schaefferkoetter, who resides in O’Fallon; his father, Ben Bock, and Ronda Calkins, who reside in Rosebud; and his brother, Alexander, and his wife, Jesse, who reside in Cornelius, the state of North Carolina. As they get through this trying time, the wonderful memories they have of Adam will act as a guiding light.

Rather than sending flowers, the family prefers that memorial contributions be sent to the Owensville Alumni Association Scholarship Fund in order to celebrate Adam’s dedication to the community and the pursuit of education. Let us honor the memories we shared with Adam and the love that he brought into our lives as we say our final goodbyes to our dearly loved Adam. Although he is no longer visible to us, his spirit will continue to be a part of the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. Adam, our dear friend, may you rest in peace with the knowledge that you will be sorely missed and loved for all time.
