On April 17, 2004, Ivy and Todd D. Clausen celebrated their wedding by exchanging their vows. Subsequently, the couple constructed a house in Sioux City, where they reared their children, Samuel Raine and Laryn Janice, with a lot of love and affection.

Ivy was a devoted social worker who worked for Siouxland Mental Health, the Department of Veteran Affairs, and Northwest AEA during her whole career. She made major contributions to each of these organizations. The utmost importance must be placed on Ivy’s dedication to her children, Samuel and Laryn. Her steadfast love and concern for their well-being never wavered, even in the face of the difficulties she was experiencing with her health.
