James Jim Pecevich Obituary, Resident Of Clinton, Massachusetts Has Passed Away

James Jim Pecevich Death –  Officer (Ret.) James “Jim” Pecevich, who had been devoted to serving the community for many years, has died away, and the Shrewsbury Police Department is in mourning at the loss of one of its own. Jim joined the police department in 1983 and worked his way up to the position of Patrolman till he retired in 2005. It is impossible to erase the imprint that his steadfast dedication and unyielding commitment to duty have left on the department and the community that it serves.

Jim was well-known not just for his professional obligations, but also for his contagious sense of humor and his kind and generous disposition. The people around him were filled with excitement as a result of his quick wit and creative talents, notably in the field of art. Not only did Jim’s penchant for sketching caricatures of his coworkers demonstrate his artistic prowess, but it also demonstrated his ability to bring laughter to no matter what the circumstances were. Jim’s ability to develop camaraderie and forge enduring ties among the team is demonstrated by the fact that his caricatures turned out to be a treasured part of the culture of the department. His caricatures frequently depicted coworkers who were unaware of what was going on.

Following his retirement in 2005, Jim moved to Arizona, where he made the most of the chances that retirement presented to him. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life. As Jim’s legacy of service and friendship continued to endure inside the Shrewsbury Police Department, his influence continued to be felt even though he was physically separated from the department.

Officer Pecevich (S-42) will be much missed, and we would want to take this opportunity to pay tribute to his memory and convey our sincere appreciation for the devoted service he provided to the Shrewsbury community. The contributions that Jim made, both professionally and personally, will be remembered and treasured for all time by his coworkers, friends, and the community that he served. May he rest in peace, secure in the knowledge that his legacy of generosity, humor, and service will continue to motivate others who follow in his footsteps.
