Remembering John’s Legacy

John Casolo’s passion for golf spanned over two decades as a proud member of the USBGA. Alongside his coach, Dave Mouton, and his faithful guide dog Grant, John traveled far and wide to participate in golf tournaments across the United States and beyond. His love for the game was evident to all who had the privilege of teeing off alongside him, and his presence on the course will be deeply missed.

A Heavenly Tee Time

John’s journey on this earth came to a peaceful close this morning at the age of 91, surrounded by his loving family. As he embarked on his heavenly tee time around 7:15 am, he was joined by fellow golf enthusiasts Bob Andrews, Ron Murner, Jim Baker, and Billy McMahon. Even in the afterlife, John continues to enjoy the game he cherished, as they allow fivesomes up there.

Fond Memories from Minnesota Tournaments

John’s presence and vibrant spirit were felt even beyond the golf course. During his visits to our Minnesota tournaments, we celebrated his 90th birthday with surprise cupcakes, a testament to his positive attitude and sense of humor. His absence this summer will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of sharing the fairways with him.
