Mike Fleming Obituary, Death – On Tuesday, March 26, 2024, Mike Fleming, who was 72 years old and lived in Morris, passed away unexpectedly at his residence. On October 9, 1951, he was born in Joliet, Illinois to parents John and Mary (née Keigher) Fleming. His parents brought him into the world.Numerous individuals, including Galynn Vaksdal, Peter M. (Sara) Fleming of Minooka and Megan M. (Ryan Sjostrom) Fleming of Chicago, Keighera and Everett Fleming, Seamus, Mary Katherine, Fiona and Ronan Sjostrom, Thomas (Lillie) Fleming, Patrick Fleming, Maureen (Barry) Fox, and Robert McMillin, among others, are grieving the loss of their loved one.

He was a proud grandfather to Hayden Lee, Alexandra, Samantha, and Josephine Greisen, as well as great-grandchildren Audrey, Lizzie, and Grant Hannon, Natale, Allison, and Caleb Arwood, and Valerie, Michael, and Ashley Greisen. In addition to his step-children, Travis Hannon, Valerie Arwood, Ashley Greisen, and Courtney Lee, he was also also a proud grandfather to Hayden Lee. The memorial visitation for Mike will take place on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from three to seven o’clock in the evening at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, which is located at 1201 West Route 6 (at Deerpath Drive) in Morris. At ten o’clock on Wednesday morning, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Minooka, Father John Honiotes will preside over the celebration of his Memorial Mass of Christian Burial. All of the friends and family members are cordially welcomed to attend. Mike’s cremation ceremonies will be followed by a private interment of his remains in St. Mary’s Cemetery. This is in accordance with his final wishes.
